the sunday nook {a harvest moon}…

full moon

there is something so wholly delectable about today’s nook that even though the sun is shining & i should be linking to deck chairs by the water’s edge, i feel compelled to bring you this instead…

hanging proudly like a harvest moon in a cloudless sky, the simplicity of this ‘art’ only adds to the intrigue of this nook…

layer in some staggered height tables & a sheepskin upholstered lounge chair juxtaposed with the sleek lines of a simple concrete floor &, for today at least, i’m ready to forgo to feeling of sun on my skin & bask in the moonlight just a little longer…

  1. Okay, that’s it, it’s official: I need a sheepskin in my life. And preferably a nook this moody and fantastic. The whole weekend was gloomy and drizzly, my favorite smell of rain on the warm concrete seeping in through our open windows, and it was the most amazing thing I could have asked for. I like sunny days as much as the next person, but give me dark and moody any day 🙂

    • i know what you mean… the sun is refusing to show his face most days in this part of the world… but it’s all made ok by nooks like this! i’m thinking this one was a style shoot for a magazine, but i’d install it in my flat in a nano!

i'd love to hear your thoughts...
