rowen & wren…

i’m always excited to come across beautiful new homewares & even more excited to discover a whole shop full of swoon-worthy pieces… online store rowen & wren is one such find {thanks to this blog post by holly at decor8}

the creative duo behind this venture have carefully-curated three collections to choose from, each of which feature an understated & timeless aesthetic which would work equally well in either a classic or contemporary home…

& quite frankly i’m smitten with pieces from them all!

here’s my top seven {because a top five simply wasn’t enough}…

1. the barnaby button backed sofa is cute as a button… simple, elegant & timeless, this is most definitely one for the ladies {i’m imagining that stack of books contains at least one jane austen novel}…

2. the derry rocker‘s streamlined design will appeal to lovers of scandi… crafted from solid oak with wool upholstery, i think this would be ideal in a nursery!

3. somerset artist angela uren‘s tonal landscape goes beyond being merely beautiful… this limited edition piece is spiritual in its simplicity {i’ve already planned where i’d hang mine… seriously}…

4. pretty much anything that promotes bloomage in the home is going to make my top seven… so it’s no surprise that i had to include these hanging bloom tubes: equally sweet hung singularly or as part of a grouping {am also loving that paint colour on the wall behind}…

5. these leather strap bread boards combine two of my all-time favourite materials {wood & leather, of course} making them bound to improve with age…

6. every room needs a light source & this would be my choice from the collection… part industrial, part glam squad, the zahra fluted table lamp is a more upmarket take on the bare bulb trend that’s been doing the rounds for some time now {though personally i think it’s a considerably more timeless option}

7. i know, i know, another vase! but the styling of these greywood bloom vases is so sweet i couldn’t resist… it’s like bringing a piece of the country to the table!

did any pieces catch your eye? be sure to check out the rest of the collection here

  1. What charming accessories! And not all overly expensive! I think I may have nailed down the colour palette or my new apartment looking at these images!! Then again, so hard choosing for your own place… Thanks for the post!

i'd love to hear your thoughts...
