a special sunday nook today, in tribute to all those mums out there…

i personally think hanging out in this girly retreat is sure to put a smile on any lady’s face {although i’d be tempted to swap out that chair for a chaise to ensure ultimate comfort when lounging around for hours on end}…

there is, of course, a strong vintage vibe going down here, from the weathered boards along the back wall, the patinated furnishings & the shabby chic upholstery… it’s a look i like to call ‘perfectly imperfect’…

but, without doubt, what really makes this space special, is the bountiful bloomage & all the colours of spring it brings… from the wall-hung vintage embroidery, to the floral fabrics & of course the fresh blossoms on the table top… it all goes to show a gal can never have too many flowers in her home! {hint, hint!}
