whoever says colour doesn’t impact your mood, looksy here…

don’t these sunshine brights make you want to sing!?! i’m finding myself craving bright colours right now to help uplift me & keep me energised in these first few weeks of a new job…

this beautiful felt & vintage linen artwork from castle and things makes me smile so much it hurts…

and i’ve always adored the vivid colour & patterns of frida kahlo’s self-portraits… this illustration by tara jacoby will more than suffice as a substitute…

& sometimes it’s the simplest things that hit the spot… this piece by jen ramos of cocoa and hearts makes me want to break open my paints & dabble for an instant injection of colour in my home…

i often avoid such bright schemes in my home because i quickly tire of colour, but artwork is always such a perfect way to get around this problem… time to create some magic i think!
