what i love about this space is that, through a clever use of texture, form & colour, daun has effectively created a room within a room…

a nature-inspired palette creates a sense of cohesion, whilst the patterned rug & artwork introduce movement & visual interest into the scheme… wood & fur are not only tactile & warming, but juxtapose beautifully with the stark white walls & sleek steel stairway overhead… and all of these elements nestle, cocoon-like, in a snug which is simply demarcated by the sweeping curve of the rug, chaise & stools…
