kudos {i wish i’d thought of this}…

so often it’s the simplest of ideas that are the very bestest…

& it doesn’t get much simpler than this fabulous cross-stitch wall art that i discovered recently…

it’s a striking statement piece…

which is unapologetically girly…

in the prettiest of colours…

with a home-made feel…

all by this clever lady…

& the real kicker? not so much as one needle required! i absolutely LOVE it!

it really is amazing what can be achieved with some pots of paint & a creative mind, & i can definitely see some future spin-offs of this idea… the possibilities are literally endless!

so kudos today to a very talented designer, illustrator & author, eline pellinkhof, for one of the more darling ideas i have come across in some time…

  1. Oh, I wish I’d thought of it, too!!! I absolutely ADORE it and I’m not even a fan of cross-stitch!

It would look so fab on my daughter’s bedroom wall – heck, on mine even ……… if only The Hubster would let me. 🙂

Truly incredible. Thanks for sharing it, Sue! 😀

    • Hi Chi… honestly, i wish my brain worked like this! Now i’m imagining all sorts of images i could apply this to… maybe a metallic skull & crossbones (or is that going a little crazy?)… haha

    • i’m thinking something a bit glam rock with this effect… imagine metallic paints & maybe a bit of rule britannia sex pistols-esque… or maybe it’s best just left for pretty things! haha

i'd love to hear your thoughts...
