into the woods {paper forest}…

city living can get to us country gals after a while… the absence of green outside the window, city lights in place of fire flies, and birdsong drowned out by the incessant hum of traffic…

so i’ve been looking to bring a little of the outdoors inside my home in time for spring… and along the lines of ‘fake it until you make it’, i’m thinking some well-placed tree scapes might help trick the mind into thinking it actually lives in some grande country manor {instead of an inner-city apartment}…

a few contenders, curiously all in varying shades of grey {oh the irony}, have come to the fore…

one of my favourites, the ‘etched arcadia mural’ from anthropologie, is perfect for rentals because of its paste-free application… i also love that it has an old world feel to it {a little like a backdrop for a victorian stage play}…

morning’s early light perpetually descends upon this bedroom papered with ‘mysterious forest’ by nono… {this seriously would feel like sleeping in an enchanted forest}

and finally, the ‘woods’ wallpaper by cole & son is so modern & fresh, it’s easy to see why it’s gracing all the best walls in town… {how sweet does it look here paired with some aptly-themed nature accessories for good measure!}

pot plants be darned, this girl’s going all out!
